Madras is a smooth, corrected leather that is chrome tanned and drum dyed. This leather has few natural features, and has a very even structure and little color variation. Madras ranges in thickness from 0.9mm to 1.1mm.
Madras is very low maintenance, has excellent color fastness, and is well suited for families and pets. Regardless of its excellent color fastness, direct sunlight will cause the leather to fade. This leather should be dusted regularly with a dry cloth, and cleaned and moisturized three to four times a year using W.Schillig LongLife Leather Care kit to maintain its natural look and feel. Z 60 "Anilux" Grade 2

“Anilux” is corrected grain leather that is chrome tanned and tumble dyed. It is produced from South American hides and has a thickness of .9 – 1.1mm. “Anilux” is embossed with a fine grain and given a light gloss finish.
“Anilux” leather has a high color fastness and easy-care properties. Soiling can easily be removed with the Longlife care set. It is family friendly leather and will maintain its beauty for many years with routine maintenance.
Even though scars and natural characteristics such as skin creases, variation in structure and color are to a large extent covered, they can still however be visible in some areas and are included in production. They can be found in all furniture parts (seat, back and armrests) and add to the elegant quality of the leather. (Brand marks are also used in the back cover.) Some stretching will occur with this leather, which is natural and not a defect.
Z 66 "Patina" Grade 2

“Patina” is corrected grain leather that is chrome tanned and tumble dyed. It is produced from South American rawhides and has a thickness from 1.1 -1.3 mm. “Patina” is applied with a sauvage pigment, creating a light two tone effect, embossed with a medium grain, and given a high gloss finish.
“Patina” leather has a high color fastness and easy-care properties. Soiling can easily be removed with the Longlife care set. It is family friendly leather and will maintain its beauty for many years with routine maintenance.

Sauvage features the appeal of fine grained, oil rubbed leather with exceptional softness and a trendy, vintage appearance. This leather is the epitome of its name, Sauvage, meaning you will see both light and dark variations of its color across its surface. The multi-tone effect is finished with a silky shine, giving it a luxurious appearance. Sauvage ranges in thickness from 0.9mm to 1.1mm.

Z 72 “Rustic” Grade 3
“Rustic” is a natural grain leather that is aniline dyed in a drum. It is produced from Indian water buffalo hides and has a thickness of 1.3 - 1.5 mm. “Rustic” is buffed after tanning to give it a velvety, tipped appearance and a heavy grain.
“Rustic” leather has an open surface that will allow it to patina over time and become more beautiful, like a leather jacket. However, because the surface is open, it will absorb liquids quickly and easily, which can alter its appearance and leave stains.

Contempo leather is characterized by its “tipped” dying process and its soft touch. It’s two tone appearance is created by a multiple level dying process that highlights the grain of the leather. This leather has an excellent feel. There will be color variation, it is a natural characteristic of this leather. Contempo ranges in thickness from 1.1mm to 1.3mm.
Contempo is medium maintenance and has fair color fastness. Regardless of its color fastness, direct sunlight will cause the leather to fade. Z 81 Elmo “Soft” Grade 5
ELMO “SOFT” is vegetable tanned and aniline dyed. It is produced from Scandinavian rawhides and has a thickness from 1.0 – 1.3mm. “Soft” is given a light coat of pigment, is available in an array of colors, and features a natural, smooth grain.
“Soft” leather has a high color fastness and easy care properties. Soiling can be easily removed with an “Elmo Leather Care” kit. It is family friendly leather and also very suitable for public applications. Like other W.Schillig leathers, “Soft” will maintain its beauty for many years with routine maintenance.

Z 87 Elmo “Baltique” Grade 5
ELMO “Baltique” is chrome tanned and aniline dyed. It is produced from Scandinavian rawhides and has a thickness from 1.3 – 1.5mm. “Baltique” is sturdy, heavyweight aniline with a very light top coat, soft hand, and pebbled grain.
“Baltique” leather has low light fastness. Soiling can be removed with immediate attention. “Baltique” leather has an open surface that allows the leather to breathe and be temperature neutral. It also allows the leather to develop a patina over time, adding to its natural beauty. However, because the surface is open, it will absorb liquids quickly and easily, which can alter its appearance and leave stains if not cared for immediately. Elmo “Baltique” should be cared for with the “Elmo Leather Care” kit.
